QR: What you can see from the farm gatepost

What you see is a vineyard planted 25 years ago with 3 varieties Madeleine Angevine to the west, Rondo in the middle and Orion in the east of the vineyard. It has always been certified organic with the SA.

This has been a good dry summer with ideal conditions for grapes. Some disease but a good flowering and so a good crop is developing. We will be looking for pickers I'm sure in September. The wildlife continue to enjoy the field with deer and I spotted 3 green woodpeckers today but it is now getting a bit serious as I have run out of rainwater!!!
