A Journey Through Our Vineyard

What you see is a vineyard planted 25 years ago. We have three varieties of grapes: Madeleine Angevine to the west, Rondo in the middle, and Orion in the east. Our vineyard has always been certified organic with the SA. This commitment to organic practices is at the heart of what we do.

After the dry and sunny summer we have now finished the harvest 2 weeks earlier than usual. We had a lot of disease in the Madeleine angevine and will be cutting back to the pruning head this winter in an effort to clean out overwintering disease. The Orion variety has been a winner with twice the crop from last year. Now is the chance to do some tidying up around the place.
